At Havenhouse Church, we believe the gospel of Jesus transforms not only individual lives but also the communities we call home. Inspired by Jesus’ mission in Luke 4:18 to bring good news to the poor, freedom to the oppressed, and hope to the brokenhearted, we seek to reach those who are marginalized, overlooked, and in need of support throughout Santa Clarita. We serve our neighbors, partner with local organizations, and work toward a community where every person is treated with dignity and has the opportunity to flourish. We believe sharing the good news of Jesus includes both proclaiming His truth and embodying His love through compassion, justice, and meaningful action. Our heart is to see Santa Clarita flourish as more people experience the hope of the gospel and the transforming love of Jesus through His people.
STREET CHURCH
Havenhouse partners with Street Church once a month in Newhall to prepare and serve free meals and offer prayer. Street Church is more than a "homeless ministry," it is an actual church! Many of those who are on the street may never darken the door of a traditional church, so we bring the church to the street!
PRISON WORK
Many people who live in Santa Clarita are unaware that we have a large prison at the north end of our town. Havenhouse is proud to work alongside the dedicated chaplains at the Pitchess Detention Center in Castaic and minister to this hidden population. A few of our members have clearance to share the Gospel and lead Bible lessons with those on the inside, which is an honor and a privilege.
SCV PREGNANCY CENTER
SCV Pregnancy Center is a non-profit Community Health Clinic specializing in pregnancy confirmations provided by a licensed physician. For those facing an unintended pregnancy we can assist in exploring all pregnancy outcome options through a holistic model of care (physical, emotional, spiritual). Our services do not include extended OB/GYN or prenatal care, nor do we perform or refer for abortion services, the abortion pill, emergency contraception, or birth control.
